Less than 3% of water is potable

Of this, 31% is accessible

69% is ice caps and glaciers
This equates to less than 1% of the earth’s water being accessible and suitable for human consumption
This means that more than an eighth of the world’s  population  does  not  have  consistent  access  to  clean,  safe  drinking  water.
Even in first world countries, including Australia, people live in third world conditions without access to the single most critical resource, essential for all life.
The planet does not create more fresh water, therefore humans are ultimately responsible for protecting existing resources and providing a sustainable future for generations to come.

Making a difference

Life h2o Australia is raising the bar to provide sustainable water security solutions for anyone, anywhere, regardless of the environment or source.
